Its certainly a lot safer to not interact with the world, for someone with a developmental or mental health condition. Its not the condition that's the problem, its society and other people's presumptions, ignorance and lack of accommodation and understanding of it. I honestly believe a lot of autistic people are light years ahead and just waiting for the rest of society and the world to catch up...
