I don't know why but even when I know something is completely meaningless and inconsequential, when it will be forgotten in a week, I'm still stressed as hell. Basically if one thing happens I'll be stressed the whole day, if not for 2 days.

Idk how to stop it, no matter how much I don't give a shit, how unimportant this shit is, I still am super stressed. I keep telling myself to forget about it, no big deal. And it really is no big deal. But I'm still fucked, my whole day is ruined and I can't focus on shit and I feel a bit manic.

I don't

There really isn't anything that calms my anxiety. I guess mindlessly watching tv shows that I don't even enjoy for hours on end

I suffer from the same issue. I think it has do with your comfort zone being absolutely tiny after long periods of doing almost nothing but LDARing. Especially when you do the exact same thing every day.

I think the only solution is ”getting used” to the stress by exposing yourself to it repeatedly. But that’s the difficult part, and an immense mental obstacle to overcome.

It usually passes away after a certain amount of time.

Eat more vegetables and fruit, and avoid things like gluten and lactose. And find a good cope that doesn't involve women. I'm a programmercel and when I'm off work I like to do these really autistic programming puzzles and exercises.

in no particular order:

Distraction (Gaming,cooking)
4-7-8 breathing technique (google it)
Alcohol+Food
GABA powder (3 grams)

you can't ignore or fight it tho, acceptance is the only way to make it dissolve

Idk tbh, nothing keeps me at peace

I'm the complete opposite. So lazy I just don't give a fuck about anything.

Tbh I don't even care about being incel or dying piss poor and lonely/virgin. Sure I think about it but not on an emotional level. Not anymore anyways.

See I'm the same way. I really am, I promise I am. I don't put any effort into anything, ever. BUT, I am also very, very stressed and anxious about it. Wtf?

I don't know. Wish I knew.

I take a long hot shower.

@soymonkcel blackpill me on GABA powder
What a coincidence, I just took a long hot shower. I do kinda feel better.

That shit calms you down. It's soft enough to be labelled as a food supplement by the FDA, but it shouldn't be a dietary supplement imo: it's a fucking neurotransmitter, so you might develop tolerance to that. Not 100% sure.

I don't like the idea because other things like good old L-theanine or CBD not only are anxiolytic/relaxing but nootropic as well. I don't want to get dumb because of a GABA high. Plus it can even kill you if it interacts with KOR agonists (almost no one uses them, tho).

On-Off use is fine. Stronger than CBD, less strong than Xanax and no side-effects. You get tired, sleep and the next morning my head has always been clear.

I never really get stressed tbh, but not in a good way. I find it very difficult care about anything so I dont really stress out.

I've read about down regulaion of GAD65 and GAD67 in autistic brains.

So GABA is lifefuel for autistcels?

Can you go a bit in Detail for me? What are those exactly?

Of course. On multiple occasions. Like 20 times so far. My experiences have been good. Would recommend

Phenibut seems to be a devirative of gamma-Aminobutyric acid.

Phenibut seems to be a devirative of gamma-Aminobutyric acid.

It's been working well for me though I only took it a couple times. I don't think it's that can be taken daily.

Is that reduction on GAD65 and GAD67 good according to the studies?
The study does not talk about the good or bad. Or maybe I'm not qualified enough to comprehend the conclusions of the study properly.

Here's the study:

GAD is an enzyme that catalyzes the decarboxylation of glutamate to GABA

GAD exists in two isoforms with molecular weights of 67 and 65 kDa (GAD67 and GAD65)

Damn, that's a huge loss of GADs.

The downregulation of the enzymes is only suggested... so I guess it's not known.

But @polar inertia posted about an on-off administration, and only when going to sleep. I guess that's not the same as having increased GABA literally 24/7.

I picked up Gaba after a recommendation by a Doctor who is specialised in treating burnout.
The stuff i read about before i used it stated that GABA is the builiding block for inhibatory processes in the brain. If there is a deficiency, your body kinda has difficulties in unwinding or downregulating the excitatory processes like stress, euphoria, etc.. Given the things you wrote i could imagine that sperging out in autists is also caused by not having those Enzymes to synthesize enough of the calming neurotransmitters, thus also profiting from Gaba.

Something in the Glutamine/Glutamate Cycle, maybe. But i'd need to read up on that first.
