I can't understand that how people can continue to deny how looks and luck are basically everything when it comes to success in life, still at this point?

Genes have zero impact over your life. All they do is determine your physical appearance, physical health, mental health, personality, inherited traits, etc
Genetics are tied to the environment, inseparable. Things are complicated and hard to grasp at the level of "is this 100% genetic or your fault" (normie-tier/entry-level trash cognition). People are biased to want to attack the out-group/competition/etc, and these sort of "arguments" (blame/deserve/etc) may be post-hoc rationalizations to (at best) not help others.

Even personality is heavily luck based.
The environment, the family you were born in and the health, looks you have shape how your personality develops and all are mostly luck based.
