Of course, I have periods where I play a game, but that's the thing—these are periods that only last one or two weeks.

Normies invest months or years in a game, know that people will choose meta characters, know that the round is already over before it even begins because their team made the wrong decision before the round started.

And you can't even say they enjoy it, considering they yell every time they get killed by the meta strategies in question.

So you'd expect them to play a different games sporadically from week to week, but that's the thing. It's seen as abnormal.

I don't understand why normies deliberately add more stress to their daily lives than they already have.

Well, normies are naturally raped and susceptible to fear and social pressure, then get conditioned to respond even worse to said things. I think it creates some sort of "rageaholism", almost nearing masochism.

Yeah its like they're stuck in their childhood, i think when you have less on ur mind its easier to enjoy something for longer idk

I think its because most human beings just have this insane desire to fit in which is then exploited to make everyone mindless drones so they are pretty much just trapped in a prison made of there own mind almost just unconscious whilst playing the game and then at that point since they are in this unconscious state they feel a sense of peace by playing the game even though its boring.

lol, wtf?

Actual normie trait is to not hyperfocus on one game for months and years but instead to jump from one fix ro the next.

I wouldn't agree with you, as the gaming world is more geared towards normies who invest more time in a game (like GTA and various other multiplayer games). However, if your opinion were correct, the gaming world would take more risks creating new IPs, which unfortunately isn't the case.

That's fpsslop for you. I love roguelikes and replay them for hours at a time but still take a week or more breaks from them. I don't know how normies put thousands of hours on one shitty valorant copy tho

Nothing better to do? Multiplayer-wise I also played CSGO, League, overwatch, PUBG, Chivalry for months over the years and I dont see problems with it since im just LDAR anyways

Maybe it is an ND trait then.

I have never played this typical normie slop. Played maybe 30 minuted of GTA online.

What a pos game. Played the campaign two times and was honestly underwhelmed as well.

Yes, I know what you mean. The typical season pass games are geared towards normscum. They make micro updates every now and then and do it to keep the customers coming back, longing for more.

It is especially noticable in live service / free2play games.

I am an oldcel anyway. I play old games, less known games and such. Used to do a lot of modding with Stalker, old GTA titles.

In this regard PC gaming mogs. Console gaming is for the quick fix as a wagie if you don't have enough time.

Now that I am unemployed again, I have more time and PC gaming has become fun again.

Most normalfags buy games to play for month before completely abandoning them, people who get addicted to GTA are outliers.

Admittedly, GTA is a bad example since the focus is not much on PvP.

norime behavor that sounds like hardcore or autis gamer behavor look at speedrunners do the same game over and over again

speedrunners do the same game over and over again
Speedrunners do it to gain recognition from other speedrunners, which is why everyone tries to be the fastest. For normies, it's more of a conscious waste of time, since they don't even enjoy it, but surprisingly, they can't stop.

(lol I found the word for it: Dissociation of "wanting" and "liking")

how i feel about league of legends tbh.
especially playing that game every day and night not even able to play a different game for more than 10min at a time.

there are so many more fun games, even newer ones.

t's all about statusmaxxing, bro. normies are completely obsessed with social hierarchy in real life, and they drag that same desperate need for validation into gaming.

they don't play to escape; they play to establish dominance. they grind the exact same miserable meta for thousands of hours just to get a shiny digital badge so they can flex in their discord servers or to their normie friend group. it's just a digital dick-measuring contest. they want to feel like a chad, even if they're just a high-elo cuck screaming at his monitor because his teammates threw the round.

for us, reality is already brutal enough. we don't need a second wage-cage disguised as a video game. gaming is supposed to be a cope, a way to rot in peace and forget about the blackpill and how brutal the real world is for a few hours.

your 1-2 week rotation is just pure coping, which is honestly the only sane way to do it. you play a game until the cope stops working, and then you move to the next one to keep the distraction going. normies willingly subject themselves to that stress because their entire existence is fueled by the need to be perceived as "better" than someone else. they can't even enjoy their free time without turning it into a stressful competition.

Because normies can play well, while a truecel struggles with reaction time.

I’ve gotten addicted to mmos and card game gacha before tbh

Battlefield 4 is mine mostly because I don't need to spend much time before I'm satisfied and hop off

They probably play variants of it, I like to play variants of platformers and fighting games so I don't get too bored on the same thing, and sometimes you learn something different
For games that don't really have these variants, I don't know, they get an ego boost fro mbeing best or something
