THEN you need to decide whether actually going from 5'4 to 5'9 or 5'10. Because bro I'm telling you, even if you are white, if you want to compete for a decent foid whore, even my height g 5'9.5-5'10 is GRUELING and in my opinion not worth the expenditure, especially since I'm this economy you'll be paying off the load (if from non-family) forever. Plus your other expenses in life. The math problem you face is one of calculating just how much your pheno is worth. I don't know what your face looks like, and i don't know what other "pros and cons" you have but you know them, so start thinking even more critically about it (not saying you haven't but perhaps some more time is necessary).

From what you are saying, the financial aid from family is out of the question. Perhaps as a last ditch effort you can see if a Psychiatrist would write you letter speaking about just how paramount it is to your mental health for you to get the LL. But honestly AND AGAIN, this is not easy either. You'll need to likely attend many psychological counseling session with a mental health specialist to convince them to even write this letter on your behalf in the first place. Besides if your father is already saying no so quickly it means that you are not wealthy enough to where the family could absorb the hit if something goes wrong.
