That's one of the things I ask myself off... how did most users here react when it still seemed as if There was going to be a major war, probably ww3, and Putin would steamroll UAF in 1 week and annex the entire country?

I assume lots of doomer hopefuel talk and threads?

I'm 2024cel hence the question.

Users probably were like:
'Finally, something happens' but a few weeks down the line and it turned out to be yet another insignificant regional conflict.... matriarchy is still there, women still have their rights and freedom, nothing changes:feelscomfy:

i mean it wasn't really expected to be a very major war anyway, people were expecting russia would sweep in and ukraine would surrender quickly
 
Pretty sure everyone thought Russia would take over Ukraine in over a week max

Russia was a real disappointment, and still is to some degree. Although they didn't lose the ground they've taken, the frontlines have barely changed,
