My hope is to ascend as a traditional Christian man, and that requires being a full-time breadwinner. Ideally I don't mind it. It is extremely depressing to come own to my own home and not have a wife there managing it though. Nobody cleans... I have to do it. I have to cook my own food, wash my own dishes, etc.

Yup, although housing and money are very important they don't always give you everything( at least not now ), so in the mean while you still need to have the basic things - Friends and a partner - Here it's a wife.
