My father would be pretty abusive with me when I was a kid. He would slap my arms, kick my legs, hit me with a remote, try to throw me into the wall, and push me to the ground. He even kicked me in the shins when I was a kid right before school because he thought he was going to be late for work. My mom was slightly better, but she had a lot of anxiety and mental issues. Not usually, cause in his mind he viewed it as discipline, so He wouldn't get facially enraged, more so completely dead blank stare. As soon as I saw that, I knew It was over lol

Yeah, I can see that. My dad was mostly a passive cuck who would just get enraged after his shit day at work and the fact we were poor. He was too much of a pussy to take it out on the people bothering him at work, so he would take his frustrations out on me.

I don’t remember much about my Dad since he died of heart problems that carried over to me as an Adult when I was still pretty young—apparently he used to yell at me as a baby or something. My Mom is still pretty abusive, all verbally now but used to be pretty physical if I made some minor mistake. Now she just violently yells at me at the slightest inconvenience that often times pisses me off; usually I try my best to brush it off.

My mother had a lot of anger issues and would yell a lot when I was really young but she calmed down around when I was like 12 but I never really got to know my dad that well and my stepdad was great to me.

I didn't get abused but my Mum was/is very emotionally manipulating.My dad is dead and I found out through my Mum that he was very disappointed with me because I was too quiet. I feel sorry for people who had abusive parents and had to put up with that. Life is hard enough without all this extra bullshit

Nah, my mom's kinda emotional and used to yell occasionally when I was little, but it was pretty justified, my dad's completely based though, best person in my life
