Im a first year college student and i have been struggling so much mentally. The amount of money that my parents decided to invest in a low IQ fucker like me, the need of an actual goal (cope) to motivate myself or whatever

IM feeling so suifuel rn, i study engineering and i feel like everything is so boring for no reason. Would taking SSRIs help me or whatever?

Whats the best cope method or something that just tickles my brain to actually feel something (i live in Southeast Asia)

Probaly just hormonal issues, poor sleep and bad health habits

I have no idea honestly. Try to do your best and don't think too much about anything that causes suifuel. It will be what will be.

Im struggling with the same, I honestly don't know. What i've been trying to do is get a better sleep schedule. and replace highly dopaminergic activities (video games, youtube, porn etc.) with something more relaxed (sports, learning an instrument or language, reading etc.) but it's hard because i've been in this routine for so long.

Thank you bro, this probaly sounds cringe but as a man, being stoic is probaly the ideal way to live

Same, its hard quitting these kinda stuff not only because you are accustomised to it but also not having anything else besides those stuff. It feels miserable but atleast they are a good cope for me

The reality is, we have nothing else going on in our lives. Which adds another extra layer to the difficulty to quit. If we had a girlfriend, some friends maybe or a fulfilling job. We would have more reason to get up in the morning. But we don't. At least I don't

And it's a good cope in the short term, but in the long term it's devastating on many fronts; mental and physical health, self esteem, finances, etc.
