The demo barely scratches the surface. The game gets more fun as you advance, and enemies become less bullet sponges.

Overall, the Resident Evil remakes are probably THE ONLY examples of modern AAA games that I could really get behind, and am actually looking forward to their conclusion.

Not because of just how polished and speedrunner friendly (hence replayable and purely fun) they are, but because they just focus on being games, like how games used to do. Just one simple thing about them: despite being remakes, their cutscenes are still super short and straight to the point. That’s very, VERY rare in modern gaming.

The only thing I disapproved of is how they turned Jill into a disgusting Mary Sue who hates all men. Also, Ash and Ada are not sexualized enough.

@Regenerator not sure if you know this, and you probably won’t take kindly to it, but they removed the ability of looking under Ashly’s skirt in the remake.

I enjoyed Resident Evil 2's remake (despite some minor flaws) But not 3's. I hated Jill's new look too. She looks like some androgynes Latina femoid & is an annoying cunt throughout the game. Carlos as well looks like he has a mop on his head. At least Resident Evil 2's character model's looked more faithful to the original design.

The only soundtrack's I liked in the Resident Evil 2 remake was Mr X's theme, The 4th survivor theme, Mr X's final boss theme & the Sewer's save room theme. Everything else was bland & forgettable.
