Just fucking laugh at this mess of an education system, as if anyone read anything written there anyways (if it is sub dissertation) - even in STEM.
I have read my own thesis again and I have found so many mistakes that everyone that even once thought about it for a minute would notice, but I still got a decent grade (despite my work being objectively worthless/flaw-ridden shit in my opinion and from the mistakes I found).
Now imagine how that shit is in so(y)ciology - which is basically saying a lot of shit that some boomertard, usual suspect or old feminist hag agrees with and maybe performing a statistical analysis that a 1st semester student in any STEM subject could do.
A degree is simply worthless.
Being proud of a degree is in Northern, Western and Central EuRope simply retarded (exception: PHD or maybe sometimes Master's), it's simply very easy to get one because everyone needs one or few to even work in anything but manual labour, it's basically the bare minimum and even inferior to vocational training both in difficulty and in capability to say something about your abilities.
This is why you need at least a Master's degree to work in many STEM subjects nowadays, if not a dissertation (in everything biology/medicine-related for example they would laugh at you if you have only a Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree is the absolute minimum and even then you are nothing more than a 2nd class worker).
This happens if you increase the easiness of getting something, if everyone has it it's worthless: You would -for example- not list the fact that you are a carbon-based life form as a job qualification or sign of superiority. Just fucking laugh at people who unironically believe these memes.
And in Weimerica even less (it's pay to win and nothing more than a sex party for the genetic elite of men and all women with maybe some nepotistic cocksucking in the end in the form of a thesis).
Exceptions to these rules: Physics, engineering - not all STEM, particularly in biology (and to lesser extents medicine/pharmacology/chemistry) every halfwit who bothers to learn a bit for an exam while forgetting the shit immediately after can get a degree in Western/Northern/Central Europe as well as America (only few are actually good at it). And Britbongs are something else, there universities are literally the most toxic spheres to be full with arrogant rich scum and the incapable detritus that the diversity quotas spilled into them. Not even talking about the cheating that is enormously rampant there, I know people that have probably never written an exam in a honest way and most profs even know it.
TL; DR: Degrees are worthless shit and college kids are scum
