I couldn't recognize any of the names and was like WTF? Then I realized Google DIRECTS you to Women's Singles first instead of the more demanding and popular Men's tourney. Basically unwatchable tennis. Rather watch doubles tbh.

They have to force you to go there, because nobody searches for it voluntarily.

Didn't happen for me, might be because I have no-script or they changed it.

Try "american role models", the first thing that pops-up are a bunch of females

Over the past couple of years, the BBC here in the UK has constantly been pushing women's football and cricket stories on the front pages of the sports section or on the front section for those sports. Often with misleading headlines such as "Chelsea sign star winger Foidinho" or "England select Stacey for next test match" and you're like "huh... I've never heard of that player..." and click through and then realise it's a story about some woman no one cares about. Attendances at the women's football league games are about the same as non-league, fifth-tier men's games (if that means anything to footballcels). They're never going to push non-league stories and reports that heavily. But of course because the BBC is getting taxpayer money anyway it can publish whatever it likes regardless of anyone being interested or not. Its bugman editors think they're engaging in some kind of righteous crusade for gender equality, ignoring the fact that they have a bully pulpit funded by a massive, over-scaled state apparatus. Gay.

The Big Four are slowly being retired and overtaken by younger, stronger early 20s players

Agepill is brutal

Taylor Townsend... she’s a “thicc” woman. I’ve heard of Alize Cornet before don’t remember her look.

:horror::horror::horror:

I googled the same thing and i get the same result but the men's singles tab is open, not women's.

Low effort bait.

Google frequently does "tests", which can be why some get one result and others different.

I noticed this too! For the first half of the toronto masters, google didnt even show the men's. Made me rage!

Big 4 are still winning slams (except for Murray). However, their contemporaries (Berdych, tsonga, ferrer, etc) are all out of the top 50. You're right that those players are being replaced. I'm a big fan of stefanos tsitsipas. Hes a 20 year old greek player with a sick one handed backhand and all court game (6'4 too). Recently made the toronto masters final (beating 4 top 10 players on the way). Now seeded 15th at the US Open

Ferrer played his last slam today, got beaten by Chadal. Will be interesting to see who emerges as the next group of great players from the current crop of prospects. Sports is a good cope :feelsokman::feelsokman::feelsokman:

There is no limit to the cuckery of modern society.

Female sports are so pointless i dont understand how theyre financially viable at all. Theyre worse than teenage males at playing a sport theyve played their whole lives jfl

Legit. Googled the schedule today and the Mens results popped up. However, I do not even want to see the names of Women players let alone watch them so still upsetting.

Thanks.

Largely because they’re subsidised by vastly more popular men’s leagues (WNBA by NBA for instance) or by men’s clubs (women’s soccer).

Sorry for the necro but just googled “us open 2018” and got same result as OP
