I have a relatively high IQ/intelligence level (maybe around 130ish? I hope I'm not dunning-kruger lol), but I have to agree with looks>intelligence. At least for personal happiness IMO. Sure, a more intelligent person is more useful towards society, but (as we all know) a more attractive person will have much higher quality and quantity of social interactions. I don't know about the lives/minds of true geniuses, but as a somewhat intelligent person, I'd much rather have the time of my life as a Chad.
You can't, but I never said the ugly genius couldn't get those things. He'd find some woman, probably in academia, who would date him. She'd probably be ugly and smart too. Wouldn't be easy to find, but they're out there. I've seen them. Also when it comes to validation, a constant stream of it isn't required for happiness. It's one way to be happy, but as long as he had a woman who committed to him, it would be enough. He'd probably derive happiness more from his work and fields of study.
Very dumb/naive in some ways, but if we're talking iq their spread is lower than mens, meaning they tend to hover around average intelligence. < 85 iq is very low, and there aren't as many women below it as there are men. Also, I never said you need to be smart to be with them. All I said was the 9/10's stupidity would probably lead to a divorce down the road. Try working on your reading comprehension.

Personally, if I had the option of being a 9/10 with an IQ of 85 or a 2/10 with an IQ of 150....I'd pick the former. It's just preference but I'd MUCH rather be cute and dumb than smart and ugly. Of course I'm imagining that the 2/10 would be unfixable via cosmetic surgery (really long midface, close set eyes, etc.).
That said, if I go point by point, I can't find anything specific that @REB says that I'd particularly disagree with. He acknowledges that a low IQ 9/10 would have no problems getting women. However, he also realizes that a 9/10 guy with a really low IQ would likely be relegated to low wage jobs. Yes, good looking men have a massive advantage in the interviewing process...good looking men are more likely to be picked over ugly men all things being equal...especially if the interviewer is a woman. But that only goes so far. Nobody is going to hire a good looking guy for a position that they are completely unqualified for and just let them be dead weight for the company....the only people who are that privileged are women (gender quotas/affirmative action).
Someone here might argue that he could be a model....and while IQ really doesn't matter for modeling, 9/10 guys aren't THAT uncommon. Whether they're 1 in 20...1 in 50 or even 1 in 100...there are comparatively very few men who can make a living off of modeling alone. And by earn a living I just mean make enough to be above the poverty line. I've known a couple people who have done modeling work and it doesn't pay much and its not consistent. It's like a couple hundred dollars for a gig here and there. Nowhere near enough to live off of. It's just extra money to make in addition to an actually stable job. There are only a tiny handful of models at the top who make good money (lachowski, p'pry, Barrett, et al)
Another valid point is that a 9/10 guy isn't going to remain a 9/10 forever. It seems like a lot of guys here reject the age pill...likely because most people here are young and they desperately want to believe things might get better but in reality they only get far worse with age. But I turn 31 in a week and a half. I've seen what aging has done to my peers (including good looking people) and it ain't pretty. I can't imagine how bad they'll look at 40 and beyond. Fact is, guys over 35 (being generous) are only good for betabux. There's a reason why when married women cheat it's almost always with a much younger man.
But even with all that said...I would still rather be 9/10 with a low IQ. I'd get to burn brightly albeit briefly. That and I also realize that women are not attracted to money (generally a byproduct of IQ). They're attracted to looks but use money + status. And at least when I'd be older and my looks faded I could look back and reminisce about my youth when I was on top while I'm 35 and washing dishes while a manager a decade younger than me shouts at me to go faster. That and of course suicide would always be an option.

One thing I don't understand is how you are coming to the conclusion that a 9/10 will not be allowed to be dead weight to a company, especially if his manager is a foid or the company is run by a woman. Also, there are many jobs which require limited effort which could be done with an IQ of 85 even good ones. Many trades pay well and can be done with an IQ at that level. Middle managers could also be at that level, most of them do virtually nothing, A lot of low class office jobs can be done with that IQ level. Sales people, motivational speakers, gym instructors could be at that level. Traditional modelling may be difficult but one can become big on social media just by showing their face at this level and can actually go viral or gain enough money to live off or even become rich from a huge amount of subscribers by practically doing nothing except taking their shirt off and maybe working out at a gym. Also, you over-estimate the number of people who are a solid 9/10, realistically it's probably 1 in 1-10000 in the general population. Your ratios are probably accurate on a college campus but this is not representative of the general population.
The biggest thing you ignore is burning off social or romantic capital which basically means finding a woman with a decent paying job who isn't attractive and living off her salary. The same thing could be applied to friends and family, which a chad is likely to have far more off than an average looking person. A woman would be happy to take care off chad while working.
In fact I would go so far as to disagree with your entire point and claim that as long as you are above a 6/10, IQ is mostly irrelevant. Yes there are many 6/10's but this already puts you at 75th-85th percentile. Having an average or even slightly below average IQ of 85 and a 6/10 face is more than enough to be successful and have a good quality of life full of relationships and people willing to take care of you and forgive all your mistakes. Even when it comes to jobs such a person could earn a middle class salary despite being semi-incompetent and low ability.
If their IQ is actually average I would say 95+, they could easily move through the ranks and get promoted to an upper-middle class type high paying job. An IQ of 115 is enough to work in any occupation. There's virtually no benefit to having an IQ above 125, outside of slight competitive edge when it comes to STEM or highly technical pursuits which are unnecessary to improve life quality. On top of that it's likely to ostracize the person from the majority, simply because of their own intellectual arrogance and narcissism and other people being wary off their know-it-all ness .
