@Epedaphic it seems your former pfp is now popular.

Apparently it seems to be a campaign against big tech companies from Data mining it's users as apparent from a whistleblower in Meta where deleting selfies deduces someone has self esteem and therefore pushes beauty products on them.

Basically normies are kinda waking up to what we've known for years with what big tech does with our data and the unethical means they use to make profits.

no besidese maybe one or two people. I've heard about it though.

Retarded campaign that won't change anything unless you stop using their websites and actually go outside and protest.

Maybe it would just be another nothingburger at the end of the day, or something meaningful would actually happen.

Idk, it seems like Big technology companies won't care if a small portion of it's userbase decides to boycott them still using their services aside from just raising awareness.

it's a protest against the transition from win 10 to win 11.
win 11 has built in screen capture spyware(recall) and built in malware(advertisements for MS products).

windows promised win 10 would be the final one, but
they prefer win 11 because it has more profit potential with slop subscriptions.

win 11 also has a shit load of bloatware.

some people are opting to linux mint as a result.

they will offer win 10 updates from oct25 till 2026 if you pay.

Nothing ever happens.

Ah man, interesting. I suspect they will all forget about it in a few days, there have been controversies with Instagram and YouTube that all conveniently disappear after gaining attention.

Wonder if there will ever be a 2hu flanchan campaign to protest Sakuya-chan keeping her locked in the basement.

Win10 also has recall auto enabled since last year, ads are everywhere in win10 when you press win button. So it's yet another bs protest.

just like win10 but even more

Yeah, I know about Recall n shit. Recall isn't available unless you have those special laptops with that AI processor, 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. They did decide to like pull it back after security issues were found.

The service still runs but doesn't do anything but consume some resources.

What ?! Are you seriously trying to tell me that posting a Palestine flag in my Instagram Bio wont immediately end the conflict in the Middle East ?!
