I'm doing so right now, same with a previous town I used to live in.
It's kinda surreal how much it changed and how little some parts have changed.
There were certainly lot more blockbusters and somerfields here and there too.

It was a pretty forest, now it's a shit hole. Humans are cancer.

I looked at the town I grew up in, and the aerial views of it are very crappy, you can't see anything.
I still remember how it was before and how it evolved.

my town changed very slightly, outskirt where i live look basically same as it was in 1996

In the previous town, theres this one neighbourhood by a large mill.
The houses were vacant and in 2009 and 2011, they were in good condition.
The door was intact, the windows were there and the outside looked nice and welcoming.
Fast forward to now, and the houses are absolutely fucked up.
Their covered in graffiti, some of the doors are missing and the windows were smashed in and covered with wooden panels.

Yes my town changed way too much. Too many rich normie families moved in so that's why i also moved out into the countryside to escape normscum.

I found an old graffiti tag I did in an alleyway from 2016.

My town went from shithole to shithole, hardly any different

Same with both my town, kinda.
In 2009 and 2011, it looked OK, but it got worse overtime.
The past really is a foreign country.

i notice way more mexicans at the high school i went to. maybe the whites decided to spend 1000s of dollars sending their kids to private schools so they don't get hurt by the mean mexicans. so much for liking them for being hard workers.

The town I live in now was settled in the early 1900's. It looks completely unrecognizable from pictures back then. Even the beaches look different. I remember when I was little we used to have a pier (boardwalk) but they tore it down 10 years ago.
