Back when I was like 7 years old. I used to do judo for a couple of years, because I kept being bullied at school. I still sucked at judo and got my ass kicked often, but if it wasn't for my sensitive shoulder in the current day. (My shoulder is sensitive to dislocating, i developed this condition later in life) I would probably enroll in another martial art.

Yes. I did kickboxing when I was about 10 for maybe 2 years. I was decent at it. I kind of hated doing though. I always felt so out of place even after doing it for ages, probably because I never really made any friends there or fit in socially.

Never been in a fight in my life though, so it was somewhat pointless in the end.

I feel that, I was also socially isolated. Though I wasn't good at judo. And I think after such a long time it was pointless for me too because I don't remember how to do it anymore.

Yep, I did martial arts from 2005-2008, which is when I moved. I made it to a brown belt. Still have all my old belts.

Yes. I have sparred with people in an MMA gym.

I don't even know why I persisted for so long. I didn't like going there, especially towards the end. I guess it was just a routine. I still have routines I hate and struggle to break out of to this day.

I should also mention when I say I was "decent", I mean purely from a technique standpoint. I was extremely frail and skinny, so I would likely have stood no chance in a fight.

Yup, same for me. It was a routine for me. Except my routines when i was that young (7 years old) were mostly controlled by my parents obviously.

Now I have full freedom which is detrimental because I spend all my time in bed, or behind PC. NOTHING ELSE. No school, No gym, I barely eat, Barely shower etc.

Relatable. I see very little point in exercising, eating healthy or pursuing any form of higher education/career so I just rot.

I can see the point in doing it, it's just that I can't anymore.

Did boxing for two years until my boxing coach retired

Haven’t done any other martial arts since

Nope. I tried boxing before a couple times for 3-4 months each time, so I failed to commit. And I’m special needs (shit coordination, reflexes etc) so I have to train harder than others. If I can’t even stay consistent it’s over

Yes in the past

This way

swinging martial arts GIF

Yes I did boxing and kickboxing but I've transitioned full-time to grappling now before I move to MMA fully

My boxing is really good to be honest, my kickboxing is alright I'm not good at kicks and I need to get better at grappling but being heavy helps
