i woke up today and felt very alone.
i dreamt i had a wife
with a motherly constitution
and slender arms
who said she loved me
and cooked a young lamb
for dinner
in the gas stove
of our country house.
Longing
for love
has only made me miserable
hatred is the only thing
that makes me forget
how alone
