I did recently. I was falling asleep and like right before I fully went to sleep i remember hearing this voice in my head. It was so different than what my subconscious would sound like it was like someone actually talking in my head and a completely different voice than my subconscious. Its been 10 days or so and I havent heard it since

Yes, I have a voice in my head and it's reading this thread out loud to me right now.

I hope it comes back tho maybe i wouldnt feel as lonely if i had someone to talk to even if it was a voice in my head

What was it saying?

I think it's actually somewhat normal to occasionally have hallucinations right as you're falling asleep and right as you're waking up. When you're in that half-awake half-asleep zone. There's even something called exploding head syndrome.

I've never had auditory hallucinations, but have had visual ones a couple times. One time I was falling asleep and right as I was drifting off I saw a bunch of bugs all over on my pillow and everything and I freaked the fuck out and jumped up out of bed. Then I turned the lights on and they were all gone.

It was a manifestation of my thoughts that it repeated back to me but i cant remember it exactly. The voice was definitely real though

Hmm thats interesting thanks for the reply bro. I dont know if i experienced something like this visually but i have experienced sleep paralysis it was scary as fuck. I couldnt move and saw someone near my door and they just kept slowly walking towards me and my mind was screaming but a noise outside of my house snapped me awake.

Yep. That voice keeps telling me that IT NEVER BEGAN

I was thinking either sleep paralysis or beginning phases of schizophrenia. It could also have been your dream starting and parts of the brain associated with it turning on right away. idk if that's possible but just throwing out ideas.

Wish I had schizophrenia so I could have someone to hang out with :feelsbadman:

sounds like hypnogogia ngl, doesn't make you a schizo, it's more like a sleep disorder. i used to get hear voices like that under the same conditions as you back when i was around 5 or 6. there would be multiple voices and they would talk but what they were saying never made much sense. i remember thinking i was telepathic and those were the voices of other telepaths speaking in some sort of code language, even tried talking back to them but they never responded back. it went away pretty fast and by itself in my case.

I used to before I took risperidome, it only happened when I was alone though.
