Serious Has anyone else completely given up on social media?

I quit it all not because I wanted to but because it got so shitty and unusable that I literally can't hack it anymore. AI moderation, rampant bots, shadowbans, slop everywhere. Its all become more trouble than its worth. Honestly being alone with my crazed thoughts is a better alternative than being inundated with AI slop and bans.

I never had the main social media's, but if it came down to it I would have them just to see what the rage was.

i stopped using it because i hated seeing my classmates enjoying themselves while i rotted. I think its been like 3 years since i last used instagram and 6 years since i used snap. I just use youtube now
