I wouldnt say theyre content with their lives so much as they are simply used to only feeling suffering. Theres evidence that supports that the human brain will try and preserve the status quo, negatively impactful or not, purely based on the need for reassurance and some semblance of an established routine. You could argue at best that most incels simply have developed an inherent learned helplessness that also serves as a slight comfort, usually through routine and even moreso through companionship. Wouldnt say content/satisfied is the word to use.
