They transplant healthy hair follicles from your body to your head so it can still grow and repair itself iirc. They can't just use dead hair or it would all break off again eventually

After looking into all this I think getting a hair piece and moving to another country where no one knows that you’re wearing a hair piece is a better option. Hair transplant can’t save full horseshoe, density is always crap and the scars are awful

I haven’t looked into it thoroughly but from my limited understanding there are more androgen receptors at the top of your head. As a result, the transplanted hairs from the horseshoe may be subjected to miniaturisation. The hypothesis is that the hairs are less affected by DHT.
