If you train intensively and well disciplined, but hardly or no muscle building, even with nutrition, then congratulations, you have shitty genetics, whereas a Chad just has to touch a dumbbell once a week to look like Ivan Drago. While you look like you've never been to a Gym. Maybe just played soccer or something when you were a kid, and now you're eating more. That's what I look like. Genetic by-product.

If you can build up at least muscles, but are ugly or small, then you may be an Incel in the modern era thanks to toxic feminist mania and hypergamy, but you are genetically fine tbh and you would have scored in the 90s. However, I'm not saying you need a lot of muscle to get women. This is a Bodybuiler Cope. It's all about genetics and in a Gym you can simply find out your value as a man.

I've been watching a good looking young man at the gym for a year. It looked like he was 1-2 times per week there. At first he was thinner than me and appereaed to be shy, and in the meantime he has passed me. Lifts more KG than me, and has brought a girlfriend with him. Helps her train, giggles around with her, does selfies while I constantly work my ass off.

What's upsetting is this isn't even abt face. It's something u think u can change but a very low glass ceiling is actually already there.

Some bring up those pics of gymmaxxed manlets standing beside gymmaxxed chads. Those are extreme example but imagine putting your body thru torture, forcing yourself to eat, counting ur calories, doing everything u can to finally reach ur genetic peak and it is mogged by some chad who lifts for fun

I put on muscle and strength when I eat but I become a fat ass. I need to be low body fat before I even bother with the gym in a serious way. Putting on salt, carb and fat bloat at +15% body fat makes you look like shit.

My bench was going up fast during the summer, every time adding weight but the bloat made me start cutting which killed my strength and motivation. Happens every time I start the gym.

Idk how but I'm actually a bit stronger than the average man weighing 136 lbs tho what I hate is that nobody gives a fuck bcuz it's all about if you look shredded or not and I've been lifting for more than one year.

Home Gym is not enough for me, I literally use every machine that is in the Gym to train all muscles I have, in a 3 day split.

I'm about to buy weights to do 5x5 at home. Floorpress,deadlift,squats and see what give. I've been training with 2x25lb dumbells for a while but no result except maintaining some mass.

If I work out I do see results I’m just lazy asf tbh lol I like things fast you know? Like during wrestling I always locked to “go live” (wrestle someone for a minute straight or something like that, no breaks) and in boxing I love to spar, and then I also love to run

All you need to do is stretching and calisthenics, which can be done at home.

The gym is just to make those gains more convenient, it doesn't really add much to your ability to really grow outside your genetic potential.

Everything supraphysiolocal is lost the second you stop lifting. It's a waste of time and money (also making your organs work harder to convert food to repair processes.)

LastGerman @LastGerman suggested me Creatine Monohydrate. I tried it out, now I manage 16 repetitions on the weight bench with 10 KG on both sides of the barbell. That is 6 more than before. :feelsahh:

Meh doing bodyweight take more time and is limited in term of strengths developement, by lifting heavy weights on compound movements that is multiples times your own bodyweights, the central nervous system, tendons and muscles need to adapt faster. But i agree that you can't outgrow your genetics limitation unless you take testosterone cycle.

My build is narrow, thus not that aesthetic, yet I was always fast in school and good at sports.

Fedor, Connor Mcdavid, Cain Velasquez, Messi etc. all look average for the most part but are more athletic/talented than all the useless bodybuilders like Arnold or pretty boy actors who look aesthetic after a roid cycle.

Fedor and Cain are heavyweights. There is absolutely nothing average about them. They are huge. Messi is a genetic roided up freak. Ben Askren is a better example (my body looks like his).

I know but they have that fat gene, thus are not aesthetic despite being strong, fast and powerful. Askren, is slow twitch as fuck, he's just a really talented wrestler, tough and smart with his gameplans (does all he can do which is lay and pray), as a physical specimen (athleticism) he's not impressive.

Being skinny sucks because we have zero fat cells, so basically any lift that is influenced by body weight (e.g. bench press) we are fucked on. I also store zero fat in my arms and chest so I will always look weak and pathetic despite being able to lift more than my friends. True, ive been lifting for years now and my gains could be achieved by somebody with good genetics in about 6 months. I have a good diet and routine but that doesn't matter as much as genes. But I will say that there are probably more guys using steroids than you think. There was that tinder survey a while back where like 35% of guys were using steroids to look better.
