Anyone know a cheap amp to buy for electric guitar? Sold my old one a long time ago and I’ve jus been playing amp free but tbh it doesnt hit the same, way less dopa hit to my trucel brain compred to when i was maxxing tf out with the sound effects n shit raping the neighbors ears

Lmk. Thanks.

I use an acoustic B20 which is technically a bass amp but I use it with electric and pedals and such. I think you can probably only get them used now though since they're pretty old

I can't afford an electric guitar so I am learning riffs on an acoustic.

I would recommend an Orange Crush 35 RT. It has two footswitchable channels (one dirty, one clean), a built-in tuner, a headphone jack, an aux in, built-in reverb and an effects loop. You can find them for around 300 USD new, and around 150 - 200 USD used.

I’ll take a look, thanks:feelsaww:

Unless you exclusively play fingerstyle guitar you should buy some picks. Dunlop Tortex Standard 0.73 are good all-round picks in my opinion, you could pick up a 12-pack of those.

Thank you.

While still at it, I encountered (what presumably might be just newbie thing) a problem where when I make my fingers touch the chords, the second I fret, it sounds like shit. Even though I adjusted all of them beforehand, the second I press my fingers on them and fret, it immediately gives off the "dead" sound.

You are most likely muting the strings with your fretting hand accidentally. My advice would be to place your thumb lower on the neck, so that you can ensure that you're only touching the strings with the tips of your fingers:

Another thing to make sure of is that you're pressing your fingers down right before a fret ends, and not at the beginning or middle of the fret:

If you need an app tuner I would recommend the BOSS Tuner app:
