You have a point. But I disagree. Like they say, many people talk about suicide but very few people actually do it. Having the option to get euthanized could imo help many try chase their dreams one last time.

Trying to kill yourself with a shotgun in the middle of a shooting range also doesn't sound very peaceful to me. You have to fight against your instinct to not kill yourself with every fiber of your being within the couple of seconds it takes for someone to try and stop you. Also, shotgun suicide isn't guaranteed for you to not feel pain.
