Gaming ghost of tsushima quick review

around 4 hours in maybe. so far is 7/10 game. looks good but ugly or average looking characters. unrealistic a bit with many foid warriors and blacksmith. combat is decent but sometimes too hard.


but ugly characters is def worst part.

I fucking HATE the health system.

The menu system is also a complete train wreck similar to Zelda: BOTW’s.

Ditto on the combat yet standoffs are fun as are stealth executions.

It also hand holds you for far too long in the beginning of the game.

Still I’d say the overall product is badass enough to warrant either an 8.5 or 9.0 score.

Soundtrack is meh.

Should’ve hired Hans Zimmer and just had him do another “The Last Samurai” style soundtrack for it then shit would’ve been epic.

A great soundtrack can really elevate a mediocre product.

health system is def annoying as fuck. I was forced to lower difficulty cause of it. soundtrack is lacking at times too

tbh it wasn't as good as people claimed at all. some ways I like ACs and shadow of Mordor games better combat wise.

there are definitely alot of useless collectibles. also feels somewhat tasteless at times, like the game is missing something

ended game at maybe 30 hours mark. was 7.5/10. combat was repetitive by end and side stories and tales not that fun. but the tragic elements and suffering makes me give it 1 point More to 7.5 as opposed to 6.5

after going thru the game, the menu wasn't bad to me. somewhat annoying at parts but not major pain. ye soundtrack is lacking compared to final fantasy and other games. combat even with standoffs and assassination got boring for me. I wish there was more Gore tbh.

One of the reasons I like games like Dark Souls. You create yourself a Chad character and feel like a boss the whole game.
