pretty sure last one I bought I got literally scammed . fkn pos died after 3 years and was literally smaller than I thought but it was garbage quality anyways. my new one has 144hz.

Unless you’re playing something like Quake, 144hz is perhaps the most useless gimmick out there. Very few titles will be able to maintain any semblance of stable 144fps, nor need it.

there are major diminishing returns kicking in past 90hz anyways.

i would rather look for color accuracy/peak brightness/contrast. Too many low-mid level “gaming monitors”. Ship with sub par image quality, touting “muh refresh rate” instead.

hmm, maby. I do play shooters so the hz is important but the contrast is bad on this monitor supposedly. Might have to spend the money on a better one if it makes that much of a difference.
