I hate open world games too. No idea why they became so popular.

I guess at first there's some excitement over discovery, but over time, you realize they're just dull sleep inducing walking sims where you engage with copy and pasted copy in-between walking.
Normies love them because they're STUPID and enjoy listening to podcasts and YouTube videos while playing them.
