My personal ranking would be Itachi > Obito > Kisame >= Orochimaru >= Pain.
Pain is the cleanest character here, but he isn't very subtle or relatable to me. Still love all of these characters.

I do love him, though his psychology doesn't hit like Itachi's, Kisame's or Orochimaru's for me. Even though the story warns against nihlism, from his perspective (not knowing about Black Zetsu), the Infinite Tsukuyomi plan wasn't that crazy, especially as a 13yo who lost the love of his life. I prefer it when characters are twisted, larp superiority, hypocritical etc. Still love his development and how he rediscovers the importance of bonds.
