Your dad may just have better genes sure. But this is also affected by how his ancestors ate. And I agree with your point hereMy biological father had chad bones yet grew up in poverty while my mom has a weak jaw yet she grew up eating good and diverse food. Its a personal experience but still. My older brother was a mouthbreather too yet his jaw and face was not affected while i was hard mewing since my teens just to end up recessed like my mother. All personal experiences ofc but
But I believe diet still has a bigger impact than you think and could have saved a lot of usI would say most of us just got bad genetic recombination, i know for myself if i got luckier with who i got certain features from (for example my mother has light coloured eyes but a weak jaw and i got her weak jaw and then i get my fathers dark dead eyes, my dad has a strong jaw but i get my moms etc) its just luck.
