I guess it depends on how life-like they are, but there is still a subconscious uncanny valley effect about it for me.

Anyway, I think that bioengineering should prioritize trying to weed out the inherent narcissism and conniving behavior of many people first, as hypergamy, paranoia, and selfishness from other people are basically why many of us find ourselves in the position that we are in now.

We may have mapped the human genome as well as that of many other organisms, but we only know a fraction of what it actually means. An analogy is like finally collecting all of the pages of a huge book written in a dead and complicated language, yet we have been only able to translate a paragraph or so here and there.

I do not want "subservience" just somebody who is honest and fair in addition to being willing to point out when I am making a mistake...in short, the same thing that most people would hypothetically want in people who they consider friends or partners.
