Western gaming has been shit for awhile now. No surprise there. What really irks me, however, is how Japanese gaming is currently being raped by localizers, censorship, and western influence. It's as if the powers that be saw how gamers were turning to Japanese games, and had to have a go at sodomizing them after they had finished their rape of the western industry.

I would describe Nintendo and Sony as being particularly evil, as both of them have placed high censorship standards on their stores which has led to Japanese games being more censored. Nintendo has also forced localizers upon the development of jrpgs they own like Fire Emblem.

I really do not have any hope left for the gaming industry. I was considering maybe getting a PS5 soy or soytendo switch 2, but I think whenever I wageslave I'll just get some retro consoles to cope with. Half the games I play on my new consoles are ports anyway. I'd rather just play the originals which are of better quality anyway.

I'm playing new Digimon it's still a very good game despite small censorship (black hole panties on human foid npcs) and few badly localized lines. Gameplay is way better than any Atlus or Pokemon game.

Fucking whores and normies. Their taste is so fucking shit and them consuming them only makes those slops more popular and corpos ignoring niche games and make them either dead as IP/the series or revived and completely casualized. At least for Digimon that modernization worked fine but for 95% of games it will fail.
