The West is declining, and the East is rising. Asians have been making great games for the past few years.
In the East: Stellar Blade, Lies of P, Wuchang, Black Myth: Wukong, Nioh 3, Ninja Gaiden 4, Street Fighter 6, Tekken 7, Monster Hunter, Resident Evil 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, Death Stranding 2, The First Berserker: Khazan, Elden Ring, and so on.
In the West: Mortal Kombat 1, Dragon Age Veilguard, Starfield, Awoken, Immortals of Aveum, Star Wars Outlaws, Assassin's Creed Shadows, Outer Worlds 1, 2, Concord, Marathon, Mass Effect Andromeda, Redfall, and so on.

Okay, seriously, there are some good projects like Tainted Grail and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and woke slop is gradually disappearing from the mainstream, because studios can't work at a loss chronically.
But, in general, these are kinda indie projects, right? Made by small studios, often in Eastern Europe, like Space Marine 2 was made in Russia, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II in the Czech Republic.
If you count, there are a lot of good games coming out.
