I seriously don't understand why there are so many users here lamenting that gaming is becoming more expensive. Gaming nowadays is actually super cheap. All you need is a mid range (or even low range) laptop and a controller (optional) and you can play thousands upon thousands of games for free. All you need to do is avoid modern slop.

Yeah i don't care about playing games at highest graphical settings. I usually play at the lowest. As long as i can get 40-50+ fps i am happy.

There is, of course, always the second hand market and you can get some pretty good deals, even brand new hardware, still sealed with a receipt for half the price.

I remember buying my nice TV, brand new with a receipt, for 300€ instead of 600€ because those people had financial issues, so they sold it to me.

Still works, two years later and has all the bells and whistles, like game mode with 1 ms reaction time.

Getting access to free music and movies is a lot easiert than games. You can just stream them without needing to download them. Also by cracking games you usually cant use online features

You won't ever get malware if you download from trusted websites such as fitgirlrepack,dodirepack and streamrip. And if you live in a third world country then it shouldn't be too risky either. Don't know how things work if you live in west though.
