More often than not I'm too mentally exhausted for games that take good reaction times so I barely play them. Does anyone know games that require low mental energy that are still entertaining?

Tales of Berseria

Fuck man i try to force myself to play games but it's really hard sometimes. Sometimes listening to music, browsing this site and watching videos on youtube is all i can manage to do. I really really want to invest time in playing games but it's just impossible to do at times.

I can relate. Especially if your day to day life is taxing and you don't get much sleep.

Online multiplayer fps games like counter strike are nice if you don't have much motivation to play games.

The Forest, and Sons of the Forest.

I just wonder around, not doing much listening to the nature. Maybe you'll find a cave or some mutant nigger to fight, and then continue exploring. If you get bored of that you can craft weapons or a base. Not much thinking involved.

There's also the story itself which you can attempt to complete if you want, its optional.

Terraria, Minecraft. You can control the pace.

When I got too tired or bored of all my games I either just take a break from playing them completely or I just find some shitty idle game I can play on the side while watching something usually after a little while my other games become more interesting to play again. Minecraft is also quite easy to loadup and just waste hours doing nothing, old online flash games can pass time too pretty well

Any JRPG game

bayonetta true foid mc tho

Turn based games/4x games - once you get the general hang of what you need to do/what's the general strategy you need to follow you can play them without focusing too much.
Pandora, Gladius, Civilization: Beyond Earth, Zephon, Darkest Dungeon are the ones that I played.

ARPGs like diablo
Now that I think about it Warframe is a good time killer that doesn't require you to think too much (90% of the time you're just spamming melee attacks and picking up whatever drops out of the enemies).

As for ARPGs, I like Inquisitor: Martyr cause it has guns, I remapped all the keys to standards WSAD for movement, mouse 1 mouse 2, space Q E F shift for abilities and played it like a top down shooter.
