The case for staying NEET is getting better. The job market is really terrible, easily the worst I've ever seen including 2009. Wages are low and dropping. The cost of living is insane. And worse than all that is AI is making most jobs seriously obsolete now. Any field of work you can think of (even STEM jobs) is going to have some AI system or robots move in and take over. Working is kind of pointless if your parents have any wealth whatsoever. If they own their house and have stocks and are good with money then there's no reason to work cause their assets will rise in value a lot more than any wage can compete with. Just tell your parents to buy AI stocks like Tesla, Google, Palantir, Microsoft etc. cause those companies and their AI systems will make whatever job you could ever get obsolete in a matter of years.
