BRICS and Russia's Eurasianism aren't any better than the NATO/US either. Both serve their own masters, but if NATO wins, at least Western hegemony ought to hold for a while longer and won't be questioned (for now), the emerging 3rd world crusade against Europe will be stopped, and, most importantly, we'll avoid a state of cold war in which you'll see the "new Europeans" armed and trained alongside the "old ones", which would lead to a bigger cohesion between them and would legitimize the "new Europeans" claims about being a de facto part of Europe.
You can find many articles online of Putin virtue signalling disdain against Britain’s imperial history. He seems to hate the anglosphere. Europe is currently declining in most ways, faster than ever, while the most powerful countries in Europe remain vassals of America. The populations of Africa and India are each themselves higher than earth’s entire population was 100 years ago. India and South Africa are both in BRICS. If it wasn’t for America then Europe would arguably be near dictatorship of BRICS. Russia isn’t our friend, Russia hates us, we don’t have much reason to ally with Russia and if they successfully take Ukraine of all its resources then their power will only grow.
One of the biggest mistake my country (Finland) has ever done is joining it and throwing it's neutrality under a bus. Now there's constant predictive programming about war. I'm constantly drowned in cortisol because I don't know how I can leave without becoming homeless, I don't want to get trapped in here. Finland will become like Gaza with famine when Russia occupies eastern and northern Finland. Nato is a huge cope, they won't "save" this quite irrevelant country.
