I could see Christianity making a comeback in the West (Western Europe and North America) if led by a charismatic figure with a clear and cohesive Christian theology/doctrine. Jordan Peterson sort of wanted to be that figure but his approach to religion was too abstract and came across as soft atheism/agnosticism and self-help pop psychology dressed up as genuine belief in God. He ain’t no Billy Graham.

In the U.K. being extremely very and very conservative about it does feel so countercultural, especially if you can defend your views passionately and openly decry secular liberalism. People get shocked, confused and scared when you confidently and unapologetically proclaim Christ as your saviour as opposed to mumbling and weak Christianity of the Anglican Church.

Having read the New Testament and some of the early Church fathers I have to say I really respect traditional Christianity however I could not honestly call myself a believer.
