That’s pretty much how Konami makes their money. Even the anti-meta Runick deck is a floodgate. So lately I tend to just play the MD events or Solo Gates because there’s at least some variation in decks.

I agree, I usually like the events, because the duels are simpler. Combos aren't as long, don't have to wait 15 minutes for a dude to finish his turn. And usually, because of the restrictions, people are forced to come up with some interesting, wacky decks.
