I consider folk/animistic/ancestral religion to be the original and truest of truest religion because it's has primordial linked to the indigenous roots of the people, it's embedded in the ancestral roots, and embedded in the souls of people, they are the living embodiments of a people’s soul.
Folk, animistic, and ancestral religions can be called the “truest of truest” religions because they are the first and most organic expression of a people’s relationship with the cosmos, the land, and their ancestors.
Folk, animistic, and ancestral religions are the primordial faiths of every people because they rise directly from their blood, soil, and soul. They are not imported doctrines but the living echo of ancestors, born from the land that sustains them, the spirits that surround them, and the memory of lineage.
Folk/ancestral/indigenous/animistic are inseparable from a people’s identity and homeland—their sacred rivers, forests, and mountains are not symbols but kin. To practice them is to remain rooted in the original spiritual bond between people, land, and ancestry—the truest form of religion.
