Discussion First post. What's the biggest lie you've ever told yourself?

Mine wasn't "everything will be okay." It was convincing myself that if I just waited long enough, something would eventually change on its own.
Another year, another routine, another cope, another distraction. I kept thinking there'd be some turning point where life would finally start making sense.
Looking back, I think lying to myself did more damage than reality ever did. Reality hurts, but false hope can waste years before you even realize it.
