What is the great filter you ask?
Despite our universe having many planets which could support life, it is fucking empty and we discovered not a single type 3 civilization which implies that IF intelligent life exists somewhere they are mostly on the level of bacteria OR our level but NOT MORE ADVANCED than we.
The explanation is that all civilizations which start giving females rights inevitably collapse, die and go extinct. It is safe to assume that most civilizations develop similar like we do (the laws of physics are the fucking same everywhere) and we are headed the same way.
The cycle goes like this:
1. Males create culture via monogamy (males are only productive if they are guaranteed to get pussy)
2. Culture survives long enough to become prosperous (because females are closely regulated)
3. Because they are too prosperous and thus decadent they start giving foids rights
4. Women undo civilization to get that Chad dick (via undoing monogamy and thus rob men of an incentive to be productive)
5. Rise of incels and NEETs (we are at this stage now)
6. Also competition for the few who chose to remain in the rat race gets more fierce and aggressive
7. Incels and NEETs become the majority while a handful of Chads hoard all the women
8. Culture stagnates and remains on the same level for a few thousand years (if we're lucky, if not nuclear war will wipe everything out, since competition, conflict and aggression will increase exponentially, eventually some Chad will nuke the planet to impress a foid or something).
