Personally, my most brutal experience was being picked on at school to erase the whiteboard, and when I couldn't reach the top the entire class (teacher took) would burst out laughing for a a while. This was a daily occurrence.

It's not even cases of being average height in elementary school then growing slower than other ppl. I always was one of the shortest dudes among my peers
