Thought about simply including this in the previous thread I made, but honestly, this deserves its own.

Thoughts? Jfl at the West being the only part(s) of the world that's declining, while everyone else is either stagnating (Pacific and Eastern Europe), or growing (Asia's absolutely brutally mogging the rest of the world both in growth and in absolute numbers, Middle East and even Africa have visibly grown (the former much more so than the latter) and even Latin America seems to have grown a bit.) Bummer that Eastern Europe has been stuck in the same place for those two decades:feelsseriously:, but thankfully, in a world where everyone's goal is to catch up with the West and the West is the only part of the world that's declining in this area, stagnating and remaining in the same place means you're still getting converging with them:feelskek:.

Also, pretty funny that Northern America is falling even faster than Western Europe, when economically they are actually outpacing them:feelskek:.

Not surprising. The west had a huge leg up in science in the past two centuries. However other sides of the world are catching up, eventually all will slow to be equal.

Kinda strange I remember reading that the US had more patents than EU in general for the past 50 years. But who knows.
