This is most noticeable in smaller towns.
My neighbours had a plot. They had vegetables, fruis and flowerss. After they died, eveytihng rotted and weeds and blush took their place.
They were many small businesses in my town like hairdresser, clothes shop etc. But some time ago, people started moving to bigger towns and cities. Young people leave their hometown after finishing school. Because of this, those small businesses slowly become obsolete in my town.
There were many children my local kindergarten and middle school. Since young people are moving from here, they live their lives somewhere else and number of children in my town is decreasing.
My town slowly but surely becoming town of retirees and pensioners.
