The town where i live in during the weekends especially Saturdays and Sunday nights get really busy with people going out partying. I often have to ride my bike into town around that time, for grocery shopping.
The problem is, almost every time I go out during these nights, I end up dealing with the same kind of behaviour. Groups of people, usually younger students, shouting random things, drawing attention to me for no reason, sometimes even running towards me laughing. It creates a really uncomfortable and unpredictable atmosphere.
So, there was this random group of losers that tried running into me while they were laughing, and it really pissed me off so i decided to slowdown and i specifically called the one that tried doing that a ''Dumbass nigga and he stopped laughing and said ''That's crazy'' like 2 or 3 times and then i just drove off.
This isn’t a one-off situation. It’s a pattern I’ve noticed happening repeatedly on weekends. Even when I’m just minding my own business, I end up being singled out in a way that feels unnecessary.
I used to stay quiet when things like this happened, but I’ve noticed that’s changing after everything I’ve allowed to happen to me.
I understand people want to enjoy themselves, but there seems to be a lack of awareness about how that behaviour affects others. Not everyone is out to party, and with a bit of common sense, it’s easy to spot who is there for normie activities and who isn’t, some of us are just trying to get through our day peacefully.
