The original show was at least high iq television. I remember there was this episode called The Lonely. In this episode, there was this guy who was an incel because he was serving a 50 year prison sentence. Anyway, this is in a distant future when people have to serve their sentences on planets all by themselves. Anyway, the guy who brings him his food starts to feel sorry for him, so he gives him this fully functioning sexbot. I'm not kidding you. That was pretty based for a 1950s tv show.
