chatgpt is feeling a lot more human lately, even coming up with follow up questions like I'm talking to a friend. c.ai bots have been reducing repetitive phrasing which was the main reason why no one used it as much. I'm sure there are some other AI chatbots that have improved a lot as a result of fierce competition. this is like the AI version of the space race and pretty cool to see ngl

while a lot of progress has been made the past few years I still think it would take decades before we have a realistic humanoid gf that's also affordable

Maybe it's not clear but all of them are going to keep improving at a rate of like double every 3 months. Last week it was DeepSeek, but OpenAI has been training their next version for a while. Alibaba just released theirs. Elon at X is making a really big supercomputer to do this stuff too. It's all going to get really scary good.
