You know its over when even your own family doesn't give about ur existence. Most of us here have nothing and nobody to turn to, we've never had a foundation of love an support. Its no wonder we're so fucked mentally when no one has given us a lifeboat.

We go through our hardships and suffering alone, drowning in despair, up shit creek without a paddle. Guys like us receive nothing but injustice in life, the system is designed to fail us at every corner of life. No one gives a fuck about the lost an the lonely, we're condemned to this war of attrition .

I think my family only pretends to care about me for the sake of the “family” and to respect my parents as well as wanting money.

I don't know what parents in the West think about their children, but in Asia they mostly see their children as a lottery ticket or an insurance investment

My parents were the only ones who cared about me. But my dad died when I was 10 and my mom recently died 9 months ago.

The rest of my family doesn't even know I'm alive and definitely doesn't care. They haven't cared if I was dead in 25+ years.

Yeah I've heard Indian parents are like that. I guess that's why Indian immigrant parents in America force their kids to memorize giant dictionaries for spelling bees, and they force them to be doctors.

Its sad how we don't even have family to count on, this life is a hellscape and we have to deal with this hell alone. We have to deal with our problems alone, our suffering, mental health, dejection, injustice from all corners we suffer alone. It never began for guys like us.

Sorry to hear you lost ur parents, my dad also died when I was young, I was 12 and don't even remember him. My mum's always had an illness called Lupus so I've seen her in an out of hospital, she's always favoured my sociopath brother over me tbh. Losing a mum must be 1 of the hardest things in life, someone from my school recently lost his, is the grief still raw for you over losing ur mum or does it ease up over time?.
