He would go with male friends of his or sometime solo, and each time they were excited to do the travelling and possibly meet girls. After ten years and 30 or so trips and 0 times even getting a date with a foreign woman he lost interest in travelling. Some of his trips were month long too, most of them 2 weeks.

He also got asked if he was a homosexual. It just sounded gay like these two guys travelling together and never with women.
