I've seen this be said a couple times here and I'm still not sure if I believe that. If most just want sex they can save up and hire an escort or fly to a country where it is legal. I was under the assumption that most wanted a relationship, which escorts are unable to provide.

I see. If an incel goes to an escort and pays for their service that doesn't mean that they have ascended, even if they are having regular "sex" with the professional. It is fake sex, an agreement that for a set time the man has access to that professional's body. After that time is up she leaves and he goes back to his inkwell life. It is PURELY transactional - some argue that relationships are the same things but there is a clear difference between the two.
